1. Overview
We design AHS PDF-Editor-Suite to let you work with PDFs with minimal unnecessary data collection. Many tools process files in your browser. This Policy describes when information stays on your device, when limited data may be sent to complete a feature you request, and what choices you have.
2. Who provides the Service
The Service is provided under the AHS Properties brand as AHS PDF-Editor-Suite. Technical contact may be reached via absaar.dev. We do not list fabricated company registration numbers on this page.
3. Local-first processing
For core client-side Tools, PDF contents are typically processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers as part of that local workflow. You remain responsible for securing your device and for any copies you download or share.
Some optional features (for example certain conversions, AI-assisted helpers, or server-rendered exports) may transmit file data or derived text to our systems or to subprocessors solely to fulfil the request. When that happens, transmission is tied to the action you initiate.
4. Information we may collect
- Usage and technical data such as browser type, approximate region derived from IP, pages or tools visited, performance metrics, and error logs.
- Account data if you create an account later (for example name, email, and authentication identifiers).
- Support communications when you contact us.
- File data for server-assisted Tools only when you use a feature that requires it, for the purpose of completing that feature.
- Cookies / local storage as described in Section 10.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service and Tools;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose issues;
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations;
- Develop new features and understand aggregate product usage;
- Communicate about material changes to Terms, Privacy, or Service availability when appropriate.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the contents of your PDFs for advertising.
6. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal data on bases that may include: performance of a contract (providing the Service you request); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention) balanced against your rights; consent (where required, for example certain cookies); and legal obligation.
8. Retention
Locally processed files are not retained by us as part of that local workflow. For server-assisted processing, we retain file data only as long as reasonably needed to complete the request, troubleshoot failures, meet legal requirements, or enforce our Terms—then delete or anonymise it according to our operational schedules. Logs and analytics may be retained for shorter or longer periods depending on purpose.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should avoid processing highly sensitive documents on shared devices and should verify that a Tool’s processing mode (local vs server-assisted) fits your risk tolerance.
11. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the jurisdiction where our systems or processors operate, information may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards recognised under applicable law.
12. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise rights, contact us via absaar.dev. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
13. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted in the product or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
