1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using AHS PDF-Editor-Suite (the “Service”), including any tools, pages, APIs exposed by the web application, or related documentation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
2. Who we are
The Service is provided under the brand AHS Properties as AHS PDF-Editor-Suite. Product engineering and related technical contact may be referenced via absaar.dev. These Terms do not invent or assert any specific company registration number, trade licence number, or tax identifier. Where formal corporate details are required for a commercial contract, they will be provided separately in writing.
3. Description of the Service
AHS PDF-Editor-Suite is a web-based toolkit intended to help you work with Portable Document Format (PDF) files and related document workflows. Features may include, without limitation: merge, split, compress, convert, organise, rotate, watermark, protect, unlock, OCR, form filling, comparison, redaction helpers, summarisation or other AI-assisted helpers where enabled, and similar utilities (collectively, the “Tools”).
The Service is designed with a local-first approach: many Tools process files in your browser on your device. Some optional features (for example certain conversions, AI helpers, or server-assisted exports) may send data to our infrastructure or to third-party processors solely to perform the requested operation. Feature availability may change over time.
The Service is provided for lawful personal and business use. It is not a substitute for professional legal, accounting, archival, or compliance advice, and it is not guaranteed to meet any particular regulatory or evidentiary standard unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate written contract.
4. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law and are not barred from using similar services in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for your use.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including export controls, sanctions, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
5. Privacy
How we handle personal data and file-related information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data processing, the Privacy Policy controls for that subject.
6. Limited licence to use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AHS Properties grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted by implication or otherwise.
Except as expressly permitted by law that cannot be waived, you may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or commercially exploit the Service or its software; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code; remove proprietary notices; or use the Service to build a competing product by systematically scraping or cloning its interface, workflows, or documentation.
7. Local processing and your files
For Tools that run locally in your browser, file contents generally remain on your device during processing. You remain solely responsible for maintaining copies of your files. We do not undertake to store, archive, or recover files processed solely on your device.
Where a Tool requires server-side or third-party processing, files or derived data may be transmitted solely to complete the operation you initiate. You should not upload or process content you are not authorised to handle. You are responsible for applying appropriate security measures on your devices and networks.
We may impose reasonable technical limits (file size, page count, concurrency, rate limits, or feature quotas) to protect the Service and other users.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in good faith and only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Tools to violate the rights of others, to circumvent technological protection measures you are not authorised to bypass, or to create or distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent materials.
You must not overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, related systems, or other users’ data. You must not interfere with security, authentication, or rate-limiting mechanisms.
9. Prohibited activities
Without limitation, you must not:
- Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have rights to process.
- Attempt to defeat PDF password protection, encryption, or digital rights mechanisms except where you are the rightful owner or have clear legal authority.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorisation.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar) to access the Service in a manner that harms performance or violates these Terms, except for ordinary browser automation you control for your own files.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service to facilitate phishing or social-engineering schemes.
- Use outputs of AI-assisted Tools as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions without human review where a reasonable person would expect verification.
10. Accounts and credentials
Certain features may be available without creating an account. If account registration, organisation workspaces, or single sign-on are offered now or in the future, you are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for keeping credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorised use after discovery.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that present a security, legal, or abuse risk.
11. User content and your responsibilities
“User Content” means documents, images, text, metadata, and any other materials you submit to or process with the Service. You retain whatever ownership rights you already have in your User Content. You grant AHS Properties a limited licence to process User Content solely as needed to provide the Tools you request, to maintain and secure the Service, and to comply with law.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to process User Content with the Service, and that such processing will not violate third-party rights or applicable law. You are solely responsible for the consequences of processing your User Content, including confidentiality obligations you owe to others.
12. Intellectual property
The Service—including software, UI design, logos, trademarks, documentation, and original compilation—is owned by AHS Properties and/or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 6, these Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
“AHS”, “AHS Properties”, “AHS PDF-Editor-Suite”, and related marks are used to identify the product line. You may not use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.
Open-source and third-party components included in the Service remain subject to their own licences. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under those licences.
13. Fees, trials, and future paid features
The Service may be offered free of charge, with optional paid plans, usage credits, or enterprise agreements in the future. If paid features are introduced, prices, billing cycles, taxes, renewals, and refund rules will be disclosed at the point of purchase or in a separate order form. Unless a mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a paid period has begun, except where we state otherwise in writing.
Free or trial access may be limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time. We may change pricing with reasonable notice for renewals or new purchases.
14. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites, models, libraries, or APIs (including AI providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Your use of sister products such as AHS Image-Suite may be subject to that product’s own terms when published.
16. Availability, updates, and technical limits
We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Tools, features, or the Service as a whole, with or without notice, including for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
Browser capability, device performance, and network quality affect results. You are responsible for using a supported, up-to-date browser and for verifying outputs before relying on them for important work.
17. Disclaimers and no warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that processing will be complete, accurate, lossless, or suitable for any particular archival, legal, or production workflow. OCR, conversion, AI summaries, redaction helpers, and similar features may contain errors. Always review outputs.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AHS Properties, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100) or the equivalent in local currency. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AHS Properties and its affiliates from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
20. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labour, or materials, or failures of public or private telecommunications networks or third-party hosting providers.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted in the product interface or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes, except where applicable law requires a different process. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
22. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access presents a security or operational risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
23. Governing law and venue
Unless a mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai, UAE shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.

25. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AHS Properties regarding the Service and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject (except separate written enterprise agreements, which prevail to the extent of conflict). If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Headings are for convenience only.
